As a responsible and sustainable mining company, Eramine is committed to maximizing local content in Argentina and in the Salta region where it operates. Its CSR activities find their foundations in Eramet’s Act For Positive Mining roadmap.
Our commitments materialize mainly through three policies: Human Rights, Ethics and Responsible Purchasing. All aim to drive fair and transparent business relations with our suppliers.
Benefits translate into salaries and social security paid in Argentina; purchases of goods and services from local and national suppliers and contractors; provincial royalties; as well as national, provincial and municipal taxes.
Strongly rooted in Salta communities
In 2024, Eramine supported local development through an annual community investment of 357,000 USD, benefiting more than 5,800 people in the Salta province. The company is actively involved the development of the educational system, and supports business development and infrastructure improvements in our regions.
These contributions reflect our commitment to strengthening local economies and improving the quality of life in our communities. We are determined to build on this momentum, in line with our ambition to process mineral resources responsibly, and to become a benchmark CSR player in the mining sector.
Programs are developed in co-construction with local authorities and communities.

Health care
Eramine has set up a health program in Santa Rosa de los Pastos Grandes in collaboration with the Ministry of Health of the Province of Salta and the Fundación Por Nuestros Niños and covering 5 medical specialties: family medicine, dentistry, gynecology, nutrition, psychology.
In 2024, 27 prevention and health promotion workshops were carried out; 177 people benefited from healthcare; and 641 consultations were carried out (51% of the beneficiaries were children).
Eramet Beyond: sustainable development beyond mining
As part of the Eramet group’s commitment, various «Eramet Beyond for contributive impact» programs have been launched. They seek to promote equal opportunities, support local entrepreneurial spirit with concrete contributions, connect with the region and serve local populations.
In 2024 we continued the deployment of programs such as “Women of the Future”, the Triple Impact program and school scholarships.

The “Women of the Future” program was launched in Argentina in 2024 in partnership with Pro Mujer, a leader in economic support for women in Latin America. This 3-year program is expected to allow 1,200 women entrepreneurs in the province of Salta to benefit from a 6-week hybrid training to strengthen their entrepreneurial skills and improve the income and savings of their activities. The training is aimed at women entrepreneurs from Salta who have been in business for at least three months.
300 women from Salta have completed the training in 2024. As a result of this training, 100% have adopted digital tools to improve the way their business operates, 69% of participants have made a habit of saving after the program, and 71% of participants feel more confident when making decisions about their business.
The Triple Impact program is based on a partnership between Eramine and the Fundación Por Nuestros Niños, based in the province of Salta, which specializes in promoting the health, rights and social development of children and young people in vulnerable situations. This program is based on three pillars: education via schools and universities, capacity-building for entrepreneurs (access to finance and support), and the ability to choose a business sector (agriculture, livestock farming, etc.). More than 1,100 people benefited from this initiative.
The objective is to promote the creation and growth of 244 microenterprises by 2026 whose activity has a triple positive impact – economic, environmental, and social – in the province of Salta and along the entire route to the Centenario site, through two components:

The Semillero Emprendedor program, for high school students in the cities of San Antonio de los Cobres, Campo Quijano, La Silleta and Salta Capital. This training imparts entrepreneurial knowledge and skills to young people in their final year of high school.
The Circulo de Emprededorés program, for entrepreneurs along Route 51. This training program encourages the use of local resources and enhances cultural identity. The workshops strengthen entrepreneurial skills and consolidate sustainable collaboration models. 58 entrepreneurs were supported in 2024 by the Circulo de Emprededores component, including 38 women with a total of 24 workshops organized.

Eramine’s scholarship program: For the past four years, a partnership has been conducted with the Fundación Anpuy, a civil society organization that has been promoting the right to education for young people aged 13 to 24 in socio-economic situations for 30 years.
- 28 scholarships were awarded in 2024, including 10 university scholarships and 8 at the secondary level. 54% of the beneficiaries are young women. As part of an agreement with the engineering school of the National University of Salta, 10 scholarships have also been awarded (50% of the beneficiaries are young women).
